Astronergy invests nearly 2 billion RMB on Solar Energy
Astronergy Solar Energy Technology Co., Ltd(Chint solar) first 20 MW second-generation micromorph thin film solar module production line put into trial production officially on May 25 2009. It probably offers about 1300 families’ amount electricity for a year, which marked Chinese solar modules production come into the "thin-film era."

At present, Astronergy have already invested almost 2 billion RMB on solar. The first 20MW pilot production of the micromorph thin film solar module will provide 10 billion RMB income.
Nan said, after a few years, the cost of the electricity generated by the second generation thin film solar module will be comparable to the present cost of the electricity produced by coal. The target capacity in 2013 will be 1000MW.
Right now, Zhejiang Province has implemented the new renewable implementation policy: by the end of 2012, one million square meters roof will be covered by pv system; solar lamps will be installed in 100 streets; the area of the solar thermal panels will be over one million square meters.
