Solarig increased its operating profit by 171% to 13.2 million in 2010
Solarig Group, a PV Independent Power Producer multinational company, increased in the last year its operating profit by 171% from 4.84 millon euros in 2009 to 13.12 million euros in the last year.
The PV energy generation (IPP) remains the main hub of the company’s growing strategy; in addition to this area, the profit is also formed by the rest of activities performed by the company: engineering and construction, operation and maintenance and promotion of turnkey projects for third party investors.
These figures place the multinational group as a global player in the photovoltaic sector with a management model based on vertical integration that maximizes the value of its investments through the use of the most efficient technologies and structures.
In addition, the group invested up to 150 million euros in 2010, reaching an accumulated investement value of 315 million euros in PV assets. By the end of 2010, Solarig had a portfolio of recurring income from its IPP activity which exceeds 1,400 million euros.
