Batteries must drive a sixfold increase in global energy storage capacity to meet 2030 transition targets (IEA). As China leads the charge in large-scale, cost-effective battery production, a competitive manufacturing landscape is rapidly taking shape. While a handful of established names seek to solidify their brand position, many new (untested) players are swiftly emerging, eager to claim market share. How fast will all these companies ramp up? Which will become trusted top-tier players? With these burning questions in mind, we decided to breathe new life into our oldest event concept: the Solarplaza Business Tour.
The Solarplaza Battery Tour China will unite a group of international RE professionals - developers, EPCs, investors, and more - for an intense week of private meetings, factory tours, and project visits, tied together by the unrivaled networking potential of shared travel, shared meals, and informal leisure time. As our original Module Business Tours to China proved back in 2006 and 2008, these interactions can result in long-lasting business relationships.
