Jochen received his Ph.D. degree in Wind and Energy Systems from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) on the topic of Physics-Informed Neural Networks for power system dynamics. He completed his master's degree at ETH Zurich. ​​​​​​​Jochen's research interest lies in exploring how machine learning methods can assist in the operation of the grid in light of the onging energy transition. In particular, he seeks for approaches that integrate the existing domain knowledge about this networked, complex dynamical system into the learning algorithms. He currently chairs an international working group of 100 industrial experts around "AI opportunities for power system control rooms" of the society of electrical engineers Germany.

Andrei Utkin, is an associate Director, Clean Energy Technology at S&P Global with over 10 years’ project management and analytical experience in energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. He has strong technical and commercial analytical skills that are complimented by good communication and leadership skills, and passion in building long term successful relationships. Impassioned to work at the forefront of the energy transition, Amdrei wishes to leverage his industry experience and multidisciplinary skills-set to exceed in the challenges of the industry.

Arash Aazami (1977) is an entrepreneur, system innovator and is considered to be one of the international thought leaders in the energy transition. In 2010 he founded the world’s first energy independence company -which earns more the less it delivers-. In 2015 he started the Internet of Energy Initiative. Now he leads Unify.energy, developing the underlying algorithms, architecture and supporting community for the Internet of Energy. Arash’ presentations are characterized by fluency, unexpected paradigms and a personal character. So stay with him: your view on energy could change overnight.

Shezan Kazi joined Randstad in 2021 as a business lead in sales and solution architect for digital innovations. Currently serving as Head of AI Strategy for Global IT, he leads and architects AI initiatives within Randstad's global IT and business operations. An entrepreneur with a keen passion for technology, Shezan's heart beats for creating high-impact solutions, fostering cross-functional teams and nurturing long-term partnerships. Before Randstad, he founded a recruiting startup in Germany, where he discovered his interest in software engineering and machine learning. Shezan lives in Frankfurt, Germany, with his wife and children and studied Business Administration at the University of Passau and Business Computer Science at the Technical University of Darmstadt.

Marjam Bahari is an accomplished AI Customer Engineer at Google, specializing in architecting innovative data-driven solutions powered by Google Cloud Platform. With a proven track record in cloud transformation, she boasts extensive expertise in Google Cloud Platform, Azure, machine learning, and generative AI. Marjam is dedicated to building strong relationships with customers and partners, offering strategic IT guidance to address complex business challenges and drive impactful outcomes. Her passion for leveraging AI to unlock new possibilities underscores her commitment to advancing technological innovation and delivering exceptional results for her clients.

David Moser (PhD in physics). He is responsible for the research group “Photovoltaic Energy Systems” at the Institute for Renewable Energy, EURAC, Bolzano, Italy. Coordinator of various EU funded projects (TRUST-PV, SYMBIOSYST, SOLARBANKABILITY). Coordinator for EURAC of the activities within the IEA PVPS Task 13 “Performance and Reliability of PV modules and systems”. He has experience in performance and reliability of PV modules and installations with a special focus on integrated solutions and storage. His expertise varies from modeling and simulations to indoor/outdoor PV systems characterization. He is vice-chair of the European PV Technology and Innovation Platform Steering Committee.

Wahbe Rezek is a dedicated technology and innovation expert with a strong background in project management. He has contributed significantly to the City of Amsterdam and ING, specializing as an IT Change Manager. In 2019, Wahbe advanced to the role of Program Manager within ING's Financial Markets division, where he first delved into the realm of AI. Over the years, he has cultivated a deep expertise in this transformative field. By the end of 2022, Wahbe founded Future Focus. He has since delivered 100+ workshops and training sessions to a variety of companies, collaborating with numerous academies. As of late 2023, Wahbe has expanded his offerings to include AI advisory and implementation services, empowering clients to harness the full potential of artificial intelligence.

Ralf Tschanun has been working in the renewable energy industry since 2008, first as the CEO of Solergy AG in Switzerland, and then as the founder of Greentech-services gmbh. During my time at Greentec, a Switzerland and Austria-based company that provides technical management and maintenance services for renewable energy systems across Europe, Ralf worked alongside his co-founder, Michael Edelbacher. Raicoon introduces a new era of solar asset management and maintenance: operations are now autonomous.
