Founder and current President of ITALIA SOLARE, the Italian solar association. He has been a pioneer of photovoltaics since the early 1990s. In 2001, he founded Enerpoint, one of the leading companies in the sector. Today Rocco Viscontini manages Enerpoint's photovoltaic systems and collaborates as a strategic consultant for some of the most significant and innovative international photovoltaic companies.

Pioneer of Renewable energy sector that she joined nearly fifteen years ago holding C-level roles in two different top European companies. In particular she has been in charge of EF Solare Italia’s (F2i group) portfolio, that she drove from the start-up phase to nearly 1GW over 300 sites and 4B€ of solar assets under management, and of Green Arrow Capital’s portfolio, where she led the operational transition to 400MW and 1.6B€ of renewable energy – wind, solar, hydro and mini-hydro, biogas and biomethane - assets under management throughout Europe. She previously held roles in Engie, Kearney and took part in a start up in the solar sector. Strongly focused and skilled in Operations, M&A processes, Portfolio Growth and Improvement, Post-Merger Integration and Technological Innovation.

Filippo Stefanelli is a manager with broad experience in energy field (business development, M&A, renewables, energy efficiency, trading & Origination and sales & marketing). He leads a challenging development plan of new solar capacity of over 750 MW and energy efficiency initiatives supporting ACEA Group in the implementation of its decarbonisation strategy. As Managing Director of generation and Business Development department of ACEA Group , Filippo leads business development activities and is strongly focused on ensuring efficiency at all levels and sustaining the group's innovation process.

Roberto is the Head of Business Development & Sustainability at ENGIE Italia. He started his career as Environmental Engineer in the italian gas energy sector, first at Edison in 2000 and then in Enel in 2002 successfully modeling and optimizing the gas portfolio and supporting long term gas supply negotiations. He joined the Engie Group within the former local JV AceaElectrabel in 2007 where he was responsible for Gas Supply and Portfolio Optimization. Since 2011 he successfully contributed to the consolidation of Engie in Italy, leading Global Energy Management Italian Origination business for power, gas and environmental attributes as from 2015. He has overseen, structured and negotiated innovative contracts in third party asset management, long term virtual power plant, energy management solutions, green power. In the recent years he has taken up the challenge of the business development and sustainability, leading the negotiations and the structuring of innovative solutions on upstream and downstream PPAs, paving the way for biomethane, green gas, green hydrogen projects and leading transversally the green power European business in the global energy management.

Founder at Elemens. He brings more 15 years of experience in the energy sector. Tommaso formerly served as Head of Studies in the Energy Producers Association (now Elettricità Futura). Expert in power markets and regulation, with a strong expertise in renewables, he is advisor of 150+ European energy players (IPP, traders, hedge funds, ESCOs, public and institutional agencies). Graduated in Economics at Bocconi University, he carried more than 500 teaching hours in master class for universities and companies.

Luca Matrone is a seasoned manager with more than 25 years of corporate finance experience in the global energy space. Since 2017 he is the Head of Industry Energy in the Global Corporate department of the IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division of Intesa Sanpaolo, the largest bank in Italy and one of the largest bank in Europe. Luca is responsible for coordinating the coverage and the commercial efforts vis-a-vis approximately 400 companies operating worldwide in the Power & Utilities and in the Oil & Gas sectors. Luca was formerly the head of Energy in the M&A team of Banca IMI, the investment banking arm of Intesa Sanpaolo group, that he joined in 2000. Luca serves as Vice-Chair in the Environment and Energy committee of the Business at OECD. He was a member of the Energy/Sustainability taskforces at B20 Saudi Arabia, B20 Italy, B20 Indonesia, B20 India and he is currently a member of the Energy Transition & Climate Task Force at B20 Brazil. Luca is a regular contributor to articles in the press related to energy themes and he has been invited to speak at several conferences organized by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development, Assoprevidenza, ANIE, Elettricità Futura, AGICI, Cesef, Solarplaza, Europe Solar + Energy Storage, Solar Media. Luca graduated in Business Administration from Bocconi University in 1998.

Giuseppe Mastropieri is a highly experienced technical advisor in the energy sector, specialising in renewable energy and utility investments. He has participated in over 400 projects worth more than €6 billion and totalling 5GW of power since 2005. Mastropieri is the managing partner and founder of REA Srl Reliable Energy Advisors and REM Srl Reliable Energy Management. He is also CEO of GreenGo Srl, a platform focused on developing green energy projects in Italy and selected MENA countries. Mastropieri holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering and is a contract professor at the University of Bologna. He is an expert evaluator for European and Italian energy programs and has served as a board member of AssoRinnovabili, now merged into Elettricità Futura. Additionally, he provides consultancy services in energy-related litigations and transaction disputes.

Virginia is a recognized expert in the energy markets. She works in support of numerous strategic investment initiatives, business planning, trading optimization, risk management and analysis, contract negotiations, legal and antitrust procedures, regulatory and institutional affairs. She coordinates the E-Innovation Committee (in the 2019-2020 PPA Committee), an initiative aimed at evaluating the sustainability of investments in the energy transition and developing policy proposals, and is involved in numerous projects dedicated to innovative business models for renewables and electrical storage. She is an electrical engineer and adjunct professor of "Energy Markets and Supply Structure" at the engineering faculty of the University of Pavia. From April 2018 to June 2021 she was the Chief Executive Officer of REF-E.

Alberto Arcioli leads the development of Clean Energy assets in Italy. He has been working in power development across technologies since 2006, focusing on solar PV and utility-scale energy storage. Prior to joining Aquila Capital in 2021, Alberto held investment management and development roles at ContourGlobal, Conergy and Falck Renewables, both in Europe and in Asia Pacific. He holds a master’s degree in merchant banking from LIUC Business School in Varese and a degree in economics from the University of Bologna/Alma Mater.

Carlo Montella is a partner at Orrick and global Deputy Business Unit Leader of the Energy and Infrastructure practice. He is a transactional lawyer with extensive experience in project development, asset acquisitions and financings in the energy and infrastructure sectors. Carlo has strong expertise and consolidated background in assisting international sponsors, multinational energy companies, large private equity funds, project developers, borrowers and debt issuers, investment banks and other capital providers and investors who value his contribution thanks to his vast experience, practical know how and willingness to go the extra mile for his client. Carlo regularly advises on energy sector mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, development, structuring and financing of large-scale energy and infrastructure projects, both in Italy and internationally (including UK and Eastern European countries). He has a significant experience in the electric power sector, wind, solar, biomass, geothermal and other renewable energy projects and has also represented clients in transactions involving electric power and natural gas transmission.

Raffaele is part of the Equity Investment Team and is responsible for the Italian market. Prior to joining Glennmont Partners, Raffaele was Head of Business Development and Alternative Investments at ACEA SpA and sat as a board member in several joint-ventures / controlled companies. Starting from scratch, he realized the renewable energy platform, completing the 2019-2022 industrial plan two years ahead of schedule, and managed the investment structuring and the sale of a majority stake of the holding company that owned the solar portfolio. Before ACEA, Raffaele was part of the Investment Team of EF Solare Italia. Raffaele holds two degrees, respectively in Economics and Political Science, a MBA from IE Business School (Spain) with an exchange at SDA Bocconi (Italy) in Finance and Investments. Lastly, he holds the Certificate in Finance at London Business School (UK).

Alessandro Cohen is the Founding Managing Partner of Armon Capital Advisory, a financial advisory and corporate finance boutique, with a specific focus in renewable energy, clean technology, project financing and real estate transactions.Alessandro was previously director of the renewable energy division at Prothea, Head of the Institutional sales desk at Pioneer Investments and marketing analyst at Integrated Alternative Investments and at Lehman Brothers. Alessandro holds a first degree in Business & Administration and a second degree in International Finance.

Pietro Felici is Business Development Manager at Iqony SENS Italia and his tasks is to offer to investors very interesting investment opportunities. By leveraging on over a decade of experience in the Utility Scale-PV market, Pietro enriches Iqony SENS capability to propose high-value projects in terms of permitting of the PV-plant and grid connection, optimized PV-design also in case of agriculture activities, BESS option. Depending on investors’ preferences Iqony SENS can deliver the project, maintain the PV-plant and look after agriculture activities for years. Pietro has a master degree at Politecnico di Milano and afterwards he attended a Project Financing course.

Dario holds a Master degree in Industrial Engineering focusing on Energy and Sustainability Management. He has previous experience in strategy consulting with Deloitte Consulting and various roles as Originator General Manager at Danske Commodities. He currently coordinates the Energy Market Taskforce at the Italian Wind Association (ANEV). Dario has contributed to establishing ONE’s European leadership in PPA Transaction advisory, having supported generators in over 5 GW of market parity transactions from inception to closing.

CEO of BFP Service, the wholly BFP’s owned subsidiary providing O&M services for renewable energy plants in Italy and abroad. Annarita graduated from the Politecnico of Bari with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2005. With more than 15 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, mainly for wind and solar O&M service providers, Annarita has developed strong expertise in negotiation with customers and suppliers, with the aim to consolidate and reach company’s budget and targets. She manages BFP Service and all its activities, i.e. operation and maintenance and installation of medium and large-scale PV plants, revamping of renewable power plants and asset management services.

Dr.Shen began the career in the renewable energy from 2010. Over the next eleven years, his roles varied from research scientist of solar cell to product manager for Utility Plant in Photovoltaic area. In 2010, Dr.Shen worked as the senior scientist for high efficiency solar cell including PERC, Bifacial and IBC. From 2015, Dr.Shen joined Huawei as the principal engineer of system solution and then took on the role as director of Product Management. In Oct 2022, Dr.Shen joined Longi as the senior product manager for European market.

Italo Rubeo is the Country Manager of DVP Solar Italy, an international company owned by Everwood Capital, which is a Spanish investment company specialized in the development of large-scale photovoltaic solar energy projects, both in Europe and Latin America. An electronic engineer from the Università degli Studi dell'Aquila, Italo Rubeo has 15 years of experience in the renewable energy business and more than 20 years in project development and business process analysis. He is a disciplined and insightful person in project planning, efficient business development and corporate strategy. Like the entire team he leads at DVP Solar Italia, he is committed to the use of photovoltaic technology as a vector for socio-economic growth. He is actively involved in the identification of Agro-PV opportunities and storage solutions as an essential component of the energy matrix on a global scale. With 35 active projects spread across the country, Italo Rubeo is committed to continue growing to make DVP Solar Italy a benchmark in Agro-PV solar energy.

Giacomo is the CEO of SunGAP, a renewable energy advisor supporting main energy operators to recover the “GAP” of energy production from fossil fuels in favor of renewables. With more than 15 years of experience, MBA at Bologna Business School, electrical engineer degree at Politecnico di Bari, Giacomo is managing SunGAP, that is emerging in the Italian market as one of the main Technical Advisors with important engineering contracts for hundreds of MW of portfolio revamping and repowering projects, new greenfield solar plants execution design, works supervisions, H&S, and asset management for tens of MW. Before founding SunGAP, Giacomo was partner in Netplan, a management consultant firm, where he was in charge of the energy department, focusing on renewable energy sector, supporting operators and investors to turnaround challenged facilities, enhance margins and letting asset value emerge.

Fabrizio Mellini is the Head of Business Development at Alectris, a leading global service provider for the integrated care of solar photovoltaic (PV) energy assets. With almost 15 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, Mellini has played a pivotal role in expanding Alectris's presence in both mature and emerging solar markets worldwide. Mellini began his career in the IT sector, where he spent more than 10 years providing IT solutions to support business integration and financing. Afterwards, he transitioned into the renewable energy industry and worked in Business Development for several major companies including a German PV component distributor, a leading EPC contractor, and a major Italian renewable energy service company.

Davide Cazzulo is a Technical Sales Manager and Account Manager at PVcase, and an emerging leader in the Italian solar sector. With a background in civil engineering, he began his career in New York City working on road and bridge design before transitioning to become a solar civil engineer in upstate New York. Davide started working on 5-20 MW scale projects with a solar developer before moving on to managing 100+ MW projects for an EPC company based in North Carolina. At this point in his career, Davide decided to make the leap into technical sales and moved back to his birthplace of Italy to pursue his current role at PVcase. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from Clarkson University, where he graduated cum laude. Davide's passion for renewable energy and expertise in civil engineering have enabled him to excel in his career and make significant contributions to the Italian solar sector.

Fabrizio Bonemazzi is an energy expert with a 30+ experience in electric grids and power generation, in particular variable renewables such as wind and solar. From the year 2000 he participated to the creation of a startup company in Enel Group dedicated to beyond the meter solutions. In this stimulating environment he acquired technical, commercial and marketing skills on retail and C&I products and installations and such as HVAC systems, heating systems, lighting, UPS, power line broadband solutions and many other similar. He dealt with solar thermal, solar PV and mini wind solutions having the possibility to scout worldwide market and selecting more innovative and competitive solutions. In those years a special passion for solar PV arose in him, entering in contact with the main stakeholders of the market, being part of solar association at national and European level, having the opportunity to cover specific roles and to be co-author of several articles and publications. In 2011 he joined Enel Green Power, moving to large utility scale renewable plants. He had the opportunity to head the Solar PV design unit and after the entire engineering unit at global level, taking care of 100 GW+ design of renewable plants worldwide. In 2019 he took care of the construction of wind, solar and BESS plants in Europe for almost 2 GW. In addition, from 2015 he had the opportunity to be part of Global Sustainable Energy Partnership alliance (GSEP) as project committee responsible for ENEL and from 2018 lecturer in Open Africa Power Enel Foundation initiative. On September 2022 he left ENEL and began to collaborate with several organizations as renewable energy and power sector expert. From October 2022 he currently works in Res4Africa Foundation coordinating its numerous training and capacity building initiatives and as Senior Fellow for ENEL Foundation.

Alessandro is a senior professional with over 20 years of successful trading and origination experience. Since 2015 he is a Senior Executive Consultant for TrailStone, a leading player in the European energy markets, where he has built-up the origination activities in Italy. TrailStone has managed over the years more than 5GW of renewables capacity in Italy and is a pioneer in offering long-term PPAs since it concluded a milestone 10-year contract with Canadian Solar in 2018.

Lorenzo Parola is Founding and Managing Partner of the recently-established law firm Parola Angelini. Lorenzo is both admitted to the Italian Supreme Court and as a Solicitor of England and Wales. He is one of the leading energy and energy technology lawyers in Italy.
