Katarzyna Klimkiewicz-Deplano is Founding Partner of Advicero Nexia. She is certified Tax Advisor since 2003, gathering professional experience since 2000. She specializes in Due Diligence processes and transaction advice. She has broad experience of advising on acquisitions and disposals of target companies, enterprises or assets, in particular in relation to renewable energy and real estate projects, as well as related financial restructuring.Katarzyna has advised and supported numerous restructuring projects, designing solutions to optimize both the transactional and ongoing tax exposure, her experience includes: mergers, liquidations, transformations and in-kind contributions. Katarzyna has acted as an advisor to numerous open-ended or closed investment funds on both transactional and on-goingactivities, including acquisitions and disposals via asset or share deals, restructurings aimed at tax optimization, obtaining tax exemption for Polish sourced income. Katarzyna has broad experience in advising renewable energy entities, in particular in project acquisition, financing, elaboration of business plans, settlement of sale of energy or green certificates.She also has experience in representing her clients in disputes with tax authorities as well as in front of Administrative Courts. Piotr Nerwiński is a partner in Dentons' Warsaw office and a member of the Banking and Finance practice team. Piotr has broad experience in acting as both lender’s counsel and borrower’s counsel at all stages of domestic and cross-border financings. He has closed a number of key financing transactions, including project finance, real estate finance and acquisition finance projects. He also specializes in financing of renewable energy sources, including the ones with awarded auction support. He advised on financing of some of the biggest onshore wind farms and portfolios of PV power plants. In 2019-2020, he advised on several RES projects with a total capacity exceeding 700 MW. His clients include banks and international investors as well as international financial institutions, such as European Investment Bank, Danish Export Finance Agency and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). In 2015 and 2016 Piotr completed two six months long secondments with the EBRD in London, where he worked on transactions of financing projects in the Balkans as well as in the CEE and CIS regions.

Dr. Christian Schnell is a partner in the Energy & Natural Resources practice team of Dentons’ Warsaw Office and also practices in the Munich office. Christian has more than 20 years of experience in advising on developments, acquisitions, disposals, EPCs, PPAs and heat supply agreements in the renewable energy sector in Poland, Central-Eastern and Southeast Europe. Christian has a varied client base, advising direct investors, renewable energy and infrastructure funds, private equity and private debt, international developers and financial institutions in respect of development, construction and operational projects. Christian has been leading transactions on numerous energy projects and has broad experience of premium support schemes, but also non-subsidy renewable energy projects, mainly onshore wind and ground-mounted solar PV projects. He has a profound knowledge about energy markets, strategic market forecasts and sector integration technologies. Christian has also longstanding experience with offshore project development and advises since many years on heat investments and heat supply contracts.

Mr. Guzik took on the position of Wento’s Development Director after sixteen-year career development in the energy industry. At that time, he was associated with companies such as Siemens, Siteco and Polterm, where for six years he was actively developing the energy market in Poland, both in terms of technical and commercial aspects. For the next five years, Mr. Guzik worked for RWE Polska S.A. as Key Account Manager and subsequently Senior Manager at Key Accounts Department, preparing successful strategies for sales and product development on the newly created wholesale energy market. In years 2009-2010, Mr. Guzik worked as Senior Originator at EGL Polska, specializing in gas and power trade and supply. He was responsible for market strategy preparation and execution for renewable and conventional energy. Then, he joined Gamesa Energia Polska, a wind turbine manufacturer and wind farm developer as Senior Transaction Executive. During his stay at Gamesa, Mr. Guzik successfully completed multiple sale transactions of fully operating wind farms. Mr. Guzik received a master`s degree in 1997 at Warsaw University of Technology, and then he completed postgraduate studies in the Warsaw School of Economics in the Faculty of Management and Marketing. He is fluent in Polish and English, and has some knowledge of Russian and Spanish.

Johanna did her bachelor in Electrical Engineering with a 2-year specialization in Power Systems in Ecuador, at the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral, ESPOL. After graduating, she started working as a planning analyst at the Ecuadorian State Electricity Distribution holding company, Corporación Nacional de Electricidad (CNEL EP). By the beginning of 2016, she obtained her master's degree in Renewable Energies in Germany, at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences. Since 2016, she was part of the solar team of TÜV Rheinland GmbH in Cologne. Her work focused on the analysis of the energy performance of solar modules under real conditions in several international projects. Her expertise includes PV module characterization, PV system performance analysis, field failures, energy rating and bifacial technologies. Johanna also holds a professional certificate in Solar Energy in Hot Desert climates at the Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), Qatar. In November 2020, Johanna joined Jinko Solar as a Technical Service manager in the EU Tech Team.
