Bart Berendsen is a senior originator and is responsible for the upstream PPA activities in the Polish trading & origination business of Statkraft. Statkraft is Europe’s largest renewable energy producer and a global company in energy market operations and as such active in Poland since 2018. Bart has been involved in Poland for over 3 years and over the course has supported many developers and investors. He has been in the renewables industry since 2010 and has seen different perspectives: from project development to procurement and tender management to internal certificate and power markets. Bart holds a Masters's in Aerospace engineering from Delft University.

Susanne von Aichberger is a Senior Analyst for the Solar & Energy Storage research group, where she performs market analysis of trends and strategies in the downstream part of the PV market. Her focus areas include PV markets in Europe and in parts of the Asia Pacific region.Prior to joining IHS Markit in 2014, Susanne was a PV market analyst with Solarbuzz, and has previously worked as technical editor for Photon International.She holds an Master Degree in Physics from Technical University Berlin.

Thomas Neff has been working in the sector of renewable energies since 2015 and has gained extensive international project experience as Key Account Manager, Asset Manager and now Senior Business Development Manager Europe responsible for the markets EU-Central and EU-East. His goal is to accelerate the expansion of renewable energies through customer success and intelligent technical solutions.

Michał Siembab represents PVO International in Poland since 2020. He has been active in the renewable energy sector in Poland for over 15 years, as a project developer and managing director in Dutch and German energy groups as well as trade associations and chambers of commerce focused on renewable energy sources. He is a graduate of the Poznań University of Technology and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.

Filip is Associate in Aurora’s Research and Publication team in Berlin, leading Polish power market activities. During his over 3 years in Aurora he was involved in building Polish offering and modelling capacities behind. Previously Filip worked for BCG and Instrat Foundation focusing on investments processes for Polish utilities. He has also gained work experience in Transition Technologies and within KAPE created long-term policy model for Polish market.

Georg co-founded Photon Energy in 2008 and was the company’s CFO until 2011. Since then he has spearheaded the group’s expansion in Europe and overseas as CEO. Georg has extensive knowledge of the solar energy industry as well as in international finance. Before Photon Energy, Georg established a finance and strategy advisory boutique focused on the CEE region and previously held various positions in financial services in London, Zurich and Prague.

Ignacio Aguilera is the Head of International Business Development at Solarig, integrated market leader in developing, building and operating solar photovoltaic plants and other renewables assets at a global scale for more than 17 years in a safe and profitable way, now with presence in 15 countries and 4 continents. Throughout it´s professional career has been involved in the main international energy markets, leading the growth along the whole cycle from business development to contract closing and project management, from different perspectives – O&M, EPC, development and M&A. Ignacio holds a high-degree in Mining Engineering with a Major in Energy and Fuels.

For the last two years, Guy has been the Product Manager responsible for the development of the hugely successful PVcase Ground Mount tool. He is always looking for ways to increase the design quality, realism, and efficiency for PV engineers. Prior to that, he worked for 18 years putting PV panels on a variety of things and in many different sunny places (aka PV project engineering) at BayWa Solar Projects and Solarcentury (now Statkraft).

Ertuğ Babataş is Head of Enerparc International and responsible for international activities of Enerparc. He was involved in several EPC projects in different regions including Europe, UK, MENA, Turkey, CIS with total capacity of more than 500 MWp. He is currently responsible for development activities within Europe and managing a pipeline of PV projects with more than 500 MWp capacity, in several countries together with local partners.

Anna has 15 years of finance and banking experience, including extensive expertise in structured finance.Currently Anna is responsible for EBRD activity in Central Europe with focus on Power, Energy & Utilities business segment. Her responsibilities involve structuring and execution of EBRD's financings including project finance structures, public-private partnerships and privatisations.Anna joined EBRD in 2006, and since then she has led numerous financing in different sectors (including also natural resources, transport, property) with an gradually increasing specialisation in energy and infrastructure. These transactions included wide range of complex debt, equity as well as syndicated deals. Prior to joining EBRD, Anna worked at Barclays Capital in London. Before that she gained experience at AIB in Dublin, HVB in Munich and National Bank of Poland.Anna holds PhD in Economics from the Warsaw School of Economics, MA in Finance from the Warsaw School of Economics, CEMS Masters in International Management.

Julia Stryczyńska has been involved in the photovoltaic industry since 2016. Since then, she has been gaining experience in both EPC and distribution companies in various positions and now since the beginning of 2022, she is with the manufacturer of photovoltaic inverters - Sungrow. She is responsible for pre-sales technical support for products designed for large-scale PV and ESS projects in the CEE region.

Marcin Jędrachowicz has joined JinkoSolar in 2020 and is responsible for sales activities in Eastern Europe. His passion for renewable energy, strong technical background, and deep knowledge of technology, makes him a valued expert in the PV industry.

Piotr Dziwniel, attorney-at-law and counsel with the Energy and Natural Resources practice team and Dentons’ Warsaw office. Piotr is a vastly experienced advisor in acquisitions and sales of wind and photovoltaic farms, in project development, construction work financing and comprehensive due diligence of RES projects. He also specializes in, among other things, drafting and negotiating delivery agreements, EPC contracts, and agreements for the operation and maintenances of RES installations.

Tomasz Zwoliński is a partner in Dentons’ Warsaw office and a member of the Banking and Finance practice team. He specializes in banking and finance transactions with particular focus on project finance, export finance (with or without official support from export credit agencies), financing of PPP projects, financing of infrastructure, energy, international trade and factoring, general corporate lending, leveraged/acquisition finance and financial restructuring. Tomasz has been engaged in key transactions financing Polish exports, highway construction in Poland and Ukraine, hotels and office buildings, as well as many industrial projects (some worth in excess of PLN 5 billion) service and residential developments. He also handles financing of renewable energy schemes in the auction support system. Concerning leveraged/acquisition finance transactions he has advised private equity funds and their lenders on multiple LBO transactions and has advised a consortium of lenders on the financing of a PLN 500 million public tender announced on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

Filip Sypko is the Head of Global Business Development at Green Genius - a renewable energy company developing solar and biogas projects across 6 European markets. For years, as entrepreneur and manager he has been associated with the energy and renewable energy industry with various experiences in sales, technical consulting and business development. Filip is a graduate of the Faculty of Energy and Fuels at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, MBA studies at Koźmiński Executive Business School in Warsaw and Technische Universität Clausthal in Clausthal-Zellerfeld.

Katarzyna Klimkiewicz-Deplano is Founding Partner of Advicero Nexia. She is certified Tax Advisor since 2003, gathering professional experience since 2000. She specializes in Due Diligence processes and transaction advice. She has broad experience of advising on acquisitions and disposals of target companies, enterprises or assets, in particular in relation to renewable energy and real estate projects, as well as related financial restructuring.Katarzyna has advised and supported numerous restructuring projects, designing solutions to optimize both the transactional and ongoing tax exposure, her experience includes: mergers, liquidations, transformations and in-kind contributions. Katarzyna has acted as an advisor to numerous open-ended or closed investment funds on both transactional and on-goingactivities, including acquisitions and disposals via asset or share deals, restructurings aimed at tax optimization, obtaining tax exemption for Polish sourced income. Dmytro Korniienko is managing sales of PV solutions in Poland, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Russia and other countries at Utility scales. He also oversees cross-border deals and supports clients with finding the right investment partner for their developments. He participated as speaker in dozens of off-line and online events sharing his experience of PV supplies to emerging and rapidly changing markets. Dmytro holds Executive MBA degree from HEC Paris, has project management and legal practice background.

Lena Boczkaja is an attorney-at-law, senior associate in Denton’s Warsaw office and a member of the Energy and Natural Resources Team. She specializes in comprehensive advisory for energy sector companies, including in the renewable energy sources (RES) sector. She uniquely combines her knowledge of investment processes with practical experience in real estate law, as well as construction and contractual issues. She oversees and manages due diligence reviews, for wind farm projects, solar farms and conventional power plants, notably in regard of financing and M&A deals. Lena is equally adept at helping clients in the domestic and EU markets. She advises corporations on market strategies, with a particular focus on regulatory issues. She produces analyses and opinions on energy and civil law. Lena also advises on project finance, negotiates terms and conditions of financing for RES projects, and supports investors in contractual issues connected with the construction of RES facilities, project development and the sale of shares in project companies.

Mr Roszkowski is a current entrepreneur and President of the Jagiellonian Institute. Miłosz Gliński is an Executive Director with Santander Corporate & Investment Banking based in Warsaw. Part of the Structured Finance division, he is responsible for innovative ESG financing solutions, with a focus on renewables and new technologies in the energy space. In recent years, Santander has become the market leader in financing renewable energy in Poland and provided PLN 2.0bn in non-recourse financing for local and international investors for projects with total capacity of nearly 1.5GW.

Nicola Kopij Zanin is a Managing Director for Solarplaza Consultancy. Prior to joining Solarplaza, he gained experience with EU development financing, having set up his own organization. In the past, he held positions in different industries across Italy, Poland and the UAE. Nicola holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Business from LUISS University in Rome and a Master's degree in Finance & Investments from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
