Lucía is the Head of the Energy practice at Ontier. She has extensive experience in renewable energy transactions and international bidding processes, advising national and international clients in the acquisition and construction of renewable assets. Lucia graduated in law at University of Santiago de Compostela, followed by a Master's Degree in Legal Consultancy at Instituto de Empresa (IE). She complemented her studies with courses in Communication in Business from Harvard University (Boston, MA) and Private International Law at The Hague Academy of International Law (The Hague, Netherlands). In 2009 she began her professional career in the legal department of Gestamp Group, which and continued in Cobra, the industrial subsidiary of ACS Group. In 2014 Lucia joined the Corporate Department of BDO Abogados, where she provided legal advice to national and international companies, especially in contracting, corporate restructuring and company acquisitions; additionally, she collaborated with the Real Estate department. Lucía joined Ontier in 2017, forming part of the Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions department until her appointment as partner of the Energy Area in 2022. Within her teaching experience, highlight her participation in the steering committee and as a professor of the course on renewable energy law at the University of Navarra, in addition to being a collaborating professor at the Instituto de Empresa (IE) and the University Pablo de Olavide. She has also participated as author and co-author in numerous specialized legal publications. Member of the Madrid Bar Association.

Carlos Jerez Bernal is responsible for the execution of structured finance and M&A transactions at Nexwell Power, a renewable energy investment platform with a focus on OECD countries. Carlos has more than 10 years of experience working on infrastructure and energy financings on the investor and lender’s sides. He holds Master’s degrees from Columbia University and the College of Europe and Bachelor’s degrees from Universidad Carlos III of Madrid. He is also a CFA Charterholder.

Investment Director at AIP Management, recently set up AIP's Madrid office to lead Southern Europe debt strategy deployment (Spain, Italy and Portugal). AIP is a direct infrastructure investment platform for institutional investors with >5bn Euros of asset under management. Previous experiences include Director, Structured Finance, Head of SEUT (Southern Europe and Turkey) at Vestas (world leading WTG manufacturer) and financial advisor at KPMG Corporate Finance in Madrid and Los Angeles. As a certified coach helps executives in the renewable energy sector achieving their goals through living a happier and fulfilled life. As a teacher enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience in the finance field. Holds a Law & Business degree, CFA charterholder, CAIA charterholder and Master ́s in Management Development and Coaching.

Álvaro Barro Augustin holds a Law Degree from the Autonomous University of Madrid in 2000 and an International MBA in 2006 from the Instituto de Empresa and has completed the IEB Advanced Program in Investment and Project Financing in Renewable Energies. His professional experience has been developed in the field of banking and financial law, where he has advised on a variety of financing and financial restructuring operations, including corporate financing, project finance, LBO, and project bonds. Since the beginning of his career, Álvaro has been particularly linked to the electricity sector, having participated in a multitude of matters related to the development, financing, purchase, and sale of conventional generation projects, renewable energies, transmission, and distribution networks. He joined ONTIER as Director of the Banking & Finance Area in 2021 from Watson Farley & Williams. Member of the Madrid Bar Association.
