The Italian solar market has been reborn from its ashes over the last two years. While the country installed 2.5 GW of solar power in 2022, it more than doubled this number in 2023. With 5.3 GW of new capacity additions, Italy’s cumulative solar capacity reached 30.3 GW, according to Terna, the Italian transmission system operator (TSO).
