Hungary’s energy storage tender: How the upcoming 440 MW battery projects support the national grid

with István Pócs (EDP Renewables)

The Hungarian authorities have recently announced the winners of the energy storage tender that was open in January and February of this year. The winners are expected to complete 50 projects by 2026 with a total capacity of 440 MW which should prove instrumental to supporting the grid. The projects will receive funding from the country’s NRRP and state budgets.

This webinar was held in September 2024, but the recordings are still available!

During this webinar, our expert speakers will analyze the tender results, what they mean for the future of Hungary’s BESS market, and what investors can expect for the years to come in terms of the feasibility and profitability of storage projects.
As always, we'll receive enough time for Q&A afterward, to ensure our audience gets the chance to get answers to any burning questions.
