The Solar Success Chain: Linking Owners, Brokers, and Insurance (Webinar Summary)

Kate is the Director of the Sol Systems Asset Management team where she onboards projects from financial close to commercial operation and then oversees project performance to ensure financial performance meets expectations. In over nine years at Sol Systems, she has directed both the SREC Operations team and the Commercial Asset Management team. Kate holds an MBA from the University of Maryland and a BS from Georgia Tech.

Lauren is Vice President / Sr. Account Manager for the Power & Renewables team within the Natural Resources Practice at CAC Specialty, providing placement and renewal broking services for clients, and leading day-to-day operations for the Cirrus Advisers consulting platform, which offers risk management and insurability services for renewable energy project developers. Prior to joining the Power & Renewables team, Lauren was Enterprise Risk Manager at Central City Concern, a large non-profit in Portland, Oregon providing housing, employment, addiction treatment, and medical services. Lauren graduated from Stanford University with a Masters in Slavic Languages and Literatures. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Russian Language and Literature from Dartmouth College. When she’s not working, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, doing yoga and CrossFit, cooking, going for neighborhood walks, and picking berries in her backyard.

Geoffrey Lehv is the Vice President, Head of North American Accounts at kWh Analytics. Just prior to kWh, Geoffrey was Vice President of business development at AlphaStruxure, with a focus on the transportation electrification segment. Prior to AlphaStruxure he held commercial structuring, and business development roles in distributed generation solar, and Energy-as-a-Service at ENGIE. Prior to his time on the Sponsor side of the renewables business he spent several years as a project finance banker with a focus on renewables transactions, including solar, wind, and biomass, at Natixis. Geoffrey graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, and from New York University with an Masters of Business Administration. He is from White Plains, New York.
