The third edition of the Photovoltaic Technical Conference will take place from 6th to 8th of June 2012 in the Congress Center of Aix-en-Provence (Southern France) and it will be dedicated to “Thin Film & Advanced Silicon Solutions”. • The aim of this technical conference in the area of photovoltaic is to reinforce collaboration between laboratories and industrial partners in order to strengthen the technical development of new generations of solar cells. • The object is to unite worldwide solar cell manufacturers, equipment and material suppliers and research centers in discussion on leading-edge topics related to photovoltaic technology in response to market requirements. • The Conference is organised by ARCSIS, a professional association in charge of promoting Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur microelectronics and photovoltaics actors. Capenergies (cluster dedicated to non greenhouse gas producing energies) and POPSud/Optitec (cluster dedicated to optics and photonics) are partners of this event. • The conference will take place in Aix en Provence, a city of art and culture, well-known for its architectural beauty and first-class hospitality.
